The American Dream is something that foreign people look for when they come to the United States. The American Dream in this story , it’s about being Wealthy and elegant . Gatsby chased his dream to become rich enough for Daisy . As we read in the story many of these Wealthy people were bad . Tom Buchanan was a total douche bag . We had everything , he was very rich . But Gatsby became rich because he was dealing with illegal trafficking , like selling alcohol in drugstores . All he wanted was Daisy’s love but it all went down . The American Dream can be dangerous . ...
